Byrne Eyecare is an independent optician founded by Optometrist William Byrne in 2017. From the beginning, the practice has focused on providing a more personal, considered approach to eyecare.

We take the time to understand your eyes, your lifestyle and what you need from your eyewear. Whether you're visiting for an eye examination, have a concern about your vision or are choosing new glasses, we believe the experience should be thorough, straightforward and personal.

We don't believe in rushing appointments or giving everyone the same advice. Taking the time to listen and understand what you need allows us to give more useful, considered advice, whether that's around your eye health, your prescription or your choice of frames and lenses.

Our approach combines professional optometric care with modern diagnostic equipment.

Our eye examinations are supported by advanced technology, including the Optos Monaco Pro, allowing us to examine the eye in greater detail and assess both your vision and eye health.

Independent eyewear

Being independent also gives us the freedom to be selective about the eyewear we offer.

Our collections combine established names with distinctive independent labels, chosen for their design, quality and individuality. We're continually looking for new collections that offer something different.
